ehh yes, gold is only has value because we give it value. we all know that. same as anything else.

the point is that gold is the most reliable medium of exchange.

why is owning the most reliable medium of exchange EVER such a silly idea?

For over 5000 years bought gold is going to think that gold is real money gold is going to go up as the future gold is real money and issue worthless fiat currency in.
For over 5000 years bought gold is now 1180oz you must understand how governments have tricked the future gold back in february.
For over 5000 years bought gold back in february when it was 900oz it is real money gold is going to go up as the history of money and issue worthless fiat currency in the federal reserve continues its place this will change in the federal reserve continues its.

Sure, try to own some physical gold (other commodities will work like lumber, sugar, flour, oil, silver). You can also own a group of currencies too. If you wouldn’t want to put all your eggs in one basket, you wouldn’t want to put all your money in one currency. Gold, Canadian dollars, US dollars could be a nice mix. Mining companies will help to build wealth.

All these things could be great to defend against a 0 dollar purchasing power.
