Dee asked:

I’m interested in investing in, (Coca Cola ® and Pepsi Cola ® (Pepsico ® Inc.)

BUT I’m not sure if I really want to yet.
I need more info.

Can anyone explain why I should choose those two companies. Why they seem more attractive to my hard earned money? What would make them better than all the others?
What are the last earnings quarter? What risks are involved when purchasing a stock?

Ted

Look into DRIP investing. you can buy your stocks directly from the company.

      Pros:

Coke and Pepsi are both large, well established companies with extremely strong brands. The liklihood that either company is going to go out of business in the foreseeable future is pretty close to 0. So these are both relatively safe investments.

      Cons:

That said I wouldn’t expect either company to grow terribly fast– there simply aren’t that many people anywhere who haven’t heard about one or the other product.
